We’re dialed in on something big.

About two weeks ago, I received an email from the founder of a company that makes microphones.

Interesting, I thought.

Singer, songwriter and proven entrepreneur David Brown heard what we were up to and thought he’d introduce himself.

From there, I did what I do. I launched into a great deal of research.

And oh boy, did I like what I found… so much so that I invited David to join us this week.

His startup’s microphones are already available through some of the biggest retailers on the planet – Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy – plus a host of specialty stores.

From there, I started digging into the product. I even bought one. It’s hooked up to my computer now.

The reviews are incredible.

It’s not every day we get to explore a startup that already has this amount of retail traction… and has gotten this kind of response from consumers all around the world.

It’s certainly different from an organic coffee shop that’s trying to sell us a caffeine alternative out of the back of a truck in rural Oregon.

All that said, this is not an official recommendation. I still have more research to do.

My goal with this interview is simply to inform you and get your wheels turning.

As you watch it… think about our three key criteria.

Does the company have a management team that we can depend on? Has that team rewarded early investors in the past?

Is the company working in a big market?

And does it have a unique product that is tough to replicate?

My conversation with David is aimed at helping you answer those questions.

Watch the video above. Check out the company’s offering page here. And see how you’d answer those questions.

It’s an ideal way to hone your investing skills in this incredible but highly nuanced market.

In fact, drop me a line with your thoughts and analysis here.

We’ll revisit the idea and go over some reader thoughts and comments soon.

Note: Check out Tula’s offering page on Start Engine for more details on the company and its listing.
