This Statistic Will Shock You
Here’s a fact that should open your eyes…
Nearly two-thirds of all millionaires have an annual household income of less than $100,000.
If you tuned in to last Thursday’s live video call (if not, here’s a link), you know why I’m stating that fact.
During our conversation, I mentioned – several times – the myth that it takes money to make money. I debunked the idea that rich folks have access to better tools or better investments than the average fella.
“There isn’t an invitation to a secret club when you become a millionaire,” I said.
It’s such a vital realization.
Too many folks believe that they can’t get wealthy – that they don’t have the income, the connections, the education… or the inheritance to join the seven-figure club.
It’s such a dangerous mindset. I’d argue the problem is bad enough that it could be considered a mental disease.
Fortunately, you’ve got the antidote.
Everybody does… It’s access to the stock market.
How to Make More
While much of what I discussed during last week’s call focused on inflation and its many forms, the solution to rising prices is the same as the solution to not having enough money.
In fact, they’re the same problem.
The stock market allows anybody to invest in – and own – the world’s greatest companies. You can invest regardless of education, social status, income… you name it. The only limiting factor is your will to do it.
What’s even better is we can invest in the companies that are actively helping folks reach their financial goals.
When most folks think of doing business with CME Group (CME) – an inflation-loving position we’ve owned for just about a year – they think it’s something for the big boys.
They think only big, sophisticated investors can afford the financial tools and hedges CME is famous for.
It’s not true.
Take two of the company’s latest products to hit the market. They are both things you’d expect me to smile about.
The first is a soon-to-come offering that simplifies the often confusing world of Treasury futures. The new product from CME allows investors to directly play rising and falling interest rates. And because it’s aimed at retail investors, the product is simple and straightforward.
The contracts rise in value when Treasury rates rise. And they fall when rates head down.
There’s no complex inverse relationships or confusing pricing.
They represent an ideal way for retail investors to hedge against big rate moves or even speculate on the future of rates.
And, again, CME created them specifically with the retail investor in mind.
Betting on Bitcoin
It’s a similar idea with another of the company’s products that just hit a big milestone. On Friday, the one-millionth Micro Bitcoin future traded hands.
It took only seven weeks.
Representing just one-tenth of a Bitcoin, these tiny contracts allow small investors to hedge and speculate just as any big-name bank can do.
In other words, if you own an outsized stake in Bitcoin and want to protect yourself from a fall, CME offers a way to do it. Or if you like crypto but only want to speculate on its price, these futures allow that too.
And, again, anybody can do it.
It’s a leading reason I recommended CME last year. As inflation takes hold and as asset prices climb to more and more record highs, it’s companies like CME that will offer the solutions and the profit potential needed to thrive.
The stock is gaining momentum with each month.
There’s still time to buy if you didn’t get your shares yet. But don’t hesitate. The company is onto something good.
It is making sure it’s not just the rich who get richer.
It can be anybody.
They just have to take advantage of the tools they’ve got.
