Money and Health Have Never Been So Closely Related

The nation is in a good mood this week… or, at least, in a better mood.

States are reopening. Stocks are zooming higher. And there’s hope we can soon move on to the next chapter in this mess.

By no stretch are we clear of danger. There’s a very real threat of getting too optimistic too quickly.

But if we stick with the facts and tune out the noise from folks looking to gain more power, I’m confident we can move toward the next phase confidently.

I’ll keep today’s message short because I’ve got our latest special health issue for you… but I want to take a minute to talk about money.

And making more of it.

The Big Reset

Most folks see that the recent downturn is a grand opportunity. It was the reset so many folks were hoping for.

Over the last month or so, almost all stocks came roaring back to life. As I dig through dozens of charts each day, I see the same patterns over and over. But I’m now starting to see some critical divergences.

That’s good. It means some normalcy is coming back to the markets.

But with that comes a bit of a warning. The major indexes that are touted on the 24/7 news networks aren’t a great indicator to watch. Putting too much weight into them can lead to bad decisions.

Folks in the know, for example, are quick to point out that just five companies now make up 20% of the S&P 500 Index. Those five companies – all huge names you know well – are doing fine these days. But it’s also important to know that more than half of the companies tracked by the index are trading below their 50-day moving average (a bearish indicator).

It’s proof that there’s big opportunity, but the easy gains may have already been made. It’s now a stock-picker’s market.

That’s why I rushed to get you the latest issue of Manward Letter nearly two weeks earlier than normal. And I’m glad I did.

My latest recommendation not only is up by more than 10% from this time last week but also just declared its latest dividend.

In news announced after yesterday’s closing bell, Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) announced it will issue a $0.58-per-share dividend on June 10.

It doesn’t make for a huge yield (less than 2% at current prices), but it’s one heck of a good signal from management. In a time when so many companies are slashing their dividends, taking on more debt and diluting their value by issuing more shares… Scotts is holding steady.

This is another fine example of owning what you know.

Friends and family have been calling me and stopping by our farm asking for advice on how to grow their own food. Some research shows it’s a huge trend in all of this mess, with many companies unable to keep up with demand. Scotts is a major player in all of it.

This stock will treat us well.

If you haven’t gotten your shares yet, get them now.

A Good Question…

But one reader did write in asking how to get these sorts of stock recommendations quicker. After all, even after rushing the issue to you, we didn’t exactly get in at the bottom.

Unfortunately, there’s not much I can do about that… at least with Manward Letter. It’s a monthly newsletter, with a set schedule that involves several contributors, a production team and, the biggest variable, a printer.

As much as my team and I push to get it to you as quickly as possible, there are some limitations we can’t overcome… especially if we want to keep the price low.

But that’s why I offer two fast-paced trading services. With these, it’s mere minutes between when I decide to pull the trigger on a stock and when readers get notified.

And, as you’d imagine in this quick-moving market, the track record for these two services is extremely hot right now. Several stocks in both portfolios are up by 20%, 30% or more over the last month.

But this isn’t a sales pitch. It’s just an FYI.

Manward Letter is where you come to build your Know-How and get in-depth thoughts and ideas. Codebreaker Profits and Alpha Money Flow are where we put those ideas to work.

Sleep on It

Now… on the subject of Know-How and in-depth thoughts… I’m also so proud to send you our latest special health issue.

Our team is very passionate about this research, and (I’m biased) it shows.

This month’s issue is about a topic a lot of folks across the world have lost over the last month.

Not money… not freedom… not their job.

In many ways, this topic is more important than all those ideas.

Folks have lost sleep.

And the more the topic is researched (most discovery on the subject is actually quite new), the more we realize just how vital sleep is to our health and overall well-being.

Just yesterday somebody told me that our culture has it all backward. We shouldn’t get up, work, relax and then sleep with whatever time is left.

We must put sleep first. We need to change the notion that sleep is the last thing we do in a day… and, instead, we must make it the first thing we do each day.

It’s a powerful idea.

But I think you’ll agree with it after you read this month’s issue.

You can read it right here.

As always, send me and the team your questions and comments with an email to mailbag@manwardpress.com.

Be well,

Andy
